For the Love of a Lifestyle?

Experiences are impactful. They influence how we see the world around us, and because none of us shares the same exact set of experiences as another, each of us sees the world a little differently.

I see the world through the eyes of an MK. Mine has been a lifestyle rich with culture, ministry, travel, and adventure, but touched by grief, loss, and significant change.

This is the lifestyle I was given. It has - I believe - been strategically used by God to shape and mold me into the person He created me to be. Every experience I may ever have to boast is a gift from my Father.

I love the lifestyle God has blessed me with, but as I have learned and grown through the years, I have come to understand that there is something far more important than the kind of lifestyle I was born into and the experiences I have had along the way. These are valid, but they are only the foundation.

What matters most is the lifestyle I choose to pursue from here on out. This is a lifestyle marked by the grace of God and colored with faith, hope, love, and obedience. It is a personal journey and the process of becoming more like Christ. It is the lifestyle of every believer. My hope is to share with you a glimpse of that lifestyle, as I experience it, here on these pages of personal reflection.

Just as valuable are your unique experiences and the God-given lifestyle you were born into. I appreciate the differences He has made between us, so please feel free to read, reflect, agree, or disagree, and leave a comment if you feel so led.
